Here is an excerpt: "I took many things that we do on a daily basis for granted. For example, when I found out I couldn’t do one of the things I love the most, ice skating, it felt like my heart shattered into a million different pieces. When was the bad news going to end! First, we had to go on lockdown and now skating practice was cancelled. Skating was my escape whenever I was feeling upset or sad. Skating was what I did even when I was having a good day. Our first buzz-worthy local business is Sensory Fitness; they were nominated by Vanessa Patience, who submitted the following: "I am nominating my gym, Sensory Fitness, because they are dedicated to fitness but also to the community. They are always doing blood drives in the parking lot. Last month, they started collecting food and clothing for the homeless in Miami. They have done special paid workouts to raise money for cancer. They collected last year for Hurricane relief. They are always giving back. Not only do they give back to the community, they give back to the members, making each person feel special and included. They have Sensory Socials to connect the members. It is more than a gym, and I am proud to be a part of it." Congratulations to @sensoryfit!
